when i ordered this chair i was real excited, looked like just what i wanted. well the sippement came as expected BUT it was not the chair i had ordered. The process of returning was quick and the one i had ordered arrived. The frame was bent and i could not assemble it. after a couple of weeks a new frame came which was fine. i didn't even have to ship the bent frame back.
this chair is NOT for older people, since it is a glider it moves when you try to stand up and for older people there is definitely a risk of falling, I did, luckly not hurt. If you sit for more than 15 minutes at a time your butt really feels the frame straps thru the very thin padding. they need something to hide the straps that you have to sit on. OTHERWISE the chair is nice, the leatherette i nice, the gliding foot stool is not necessary.
